Nº 05 Mugs and Drinkware
The mug matters more than you think
Ask a room of coffee drinkers about their favorite mug and watch what happens. Everyone has one. It's usually not the prettiest. It's the one with the right weight, the handle that fits three fingers, the rim that feels good against your lip.
Drinkware is the cheapest upgrade in coffee, and one of the most personal. Ceramic, stoneware, glass, double-walled steel. Each one changes how long a drink stays warm and how it feels to hold. A travel mug that leaks ruins a commute. A cappuccino cup that's too big flattens the foam.
This section is about the cups people reach for every day: mugs, espresso cups, travel tumblers, cold brew glasses and the pieces that make a coffee corner feel like yours. We'll cover what to look for, how to care for it and what's worth the price.
